Virginia Heart's 5th Annual Day of Service

This past October, Virginia Heart hosted its 5th annual Day of Service to benefit the community. Over 1,900 pounds of food was collected, packed and donated to Food For Other's P3 program. This program provides meals to children in Northern Virginia facing food insecurity.

In addition to the Day of Service, Virginia Heart hosted a toiletry drive across their 12 office locations which resulted in over 700 items donated to the Patrick Henry Family Shelter.

The mission of the Virginia Heart Community Foundation is to support organizations and projects that aim to improve the health and well-being of our community. Virginia Heart is honored to have team members that are dedicated to helping the community we serve outside of the life-saving cardiovascular care they provide them.
