Sierra Cavan, MSN, FNP-BC has a Masters of Science in Nursing and is board certified in Family Medicine. She works as a nurse practitioner in the Loudoun and Reston offices.
Sierra became interested in cardiology during her 8-year career as a trauma/emergency room nurse after taking special interest in the long-term effects of traumatic injury on the cardiac system. Today, her goal is to help her patients optimize their long-term heart health through evidence-based practice, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications.
Sierra enjoys any form of exercise that involves competition (even if the person beside her doesn’t know they’re competing) and watching collegiate sports with her husband, daughter, and their two dogs.
