- Electrophysiology
Adam S. Fein, MD specializes in electrophysiology procedures to correct a variety of arrhythmias. He has extensive experience in performing cardiac ablations and implanting pacemakers, biventricular devices and defibrillators. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease, cardiac electrophysiology and internal medicine. “Electrophysiology is a specialty that can make a meaningful impact in patients’ lives by treating varied electrical problems of the heart from teenagers to the elderly,” he said. “We can help a patient through a curative procedure, as well as manage chronic medical problems through careful use of medications. It can give years to people’s lives, and increase the quality of those years.”
Dr. Fein earned his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and pursued his residency at Harvard Medical School/Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, where he also completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease and cardiac electrophysiology.
When he is not treating his patients at Virginia Heart, Dr. Fein stays busy chasing after his two small children.
