Ankit Medhekar ,

Ankit Medhekar, MD specializes in general cardiology and is board certified in echocardiography and internal medicine. He has a special interest in preventive cardiology and cardiac imaging.

Dr. Medhekar completed his internal medicine training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and his cardiology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine.

With an engineering background, Dr. Medhekar found his passion in cardiology through its blend of data-driven decision-making and the heart’s mathematically elegant systems.  Drawing on this expertise, he hopes to bring a fresh perspective to patient care, combining the latest advances in cardiology with a personalized, empathetic approach.

As a general cardiologist, Dr. Medhekar prioritizes building lasting relationships with his patients, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and empowered in their heart health journey.  He tailors each treatment plan to the specific goals and values of the patient, ensuring personalized care for every individual.

In his free time, Dr. Medhekar enjoys traveling, hiking, camping and exploring new restaurants with his wife and dog.
