Stephen M. Day, MD specializes in general and interventional cardiology. He performs diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, nuclear stress testing and is board certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and internal medicine. “I enjoy cardiology because it allows me to participate in prevention, acute care, and secondary prevention,” he said. “During my time with patients, I try to be their advocate.”
Dr. Day earned his medical degree from Marquette University and the Medical School of Wisconsin, and completed his internship and residency at Marquette University Affiliated Hospitals. He then pursued fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at Georgetown University Hospital.
Dr. Day enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, and two yellow labs. He enjoys sailing, skiing and scuba diving.
